Ease the Tease A Bullying Prevention Program
Teasing stings, and students don’t always know how to respond to that hurt. Ease the Tease explores the differences between friendly and hurtful teasing while empowering students with strategies to respond to teasing.
Ease the Tease was designed in collaboration with 2011 Illinois School Social Worker of the Year, Judy S. Freedman, MSW, LCSW. Ms. Freedman is the author of Easing the Teasing – Helping Your Child Cope with Name-Calling, Ridicule, and Verbal Bullying and co-author along with Mimi P. Black, Ph.D., of the children’s book Ease the Tease. For more information on Judy S. Freedman’s work, you can contact her at easingtheteasing@gmail.com.
