Praise for Imagination Theater's School Programming
Imagination Theater's engaging and effective approach toward bullying prevention is worthy of the highest recommendation. ... After Ease the Tease was presented at my children's elementary school this past autumn, I had the opportunity to talk with some of the students. Their enthusiastic reactions to the show were unforgettable. The children talked eagerly about how the actors set up scenarios that they'd seen in their own lives. They loved seeing how easy it could be to stop the escalation of a tease. I’ll especially remember the comment of a third grade boy, one I knew to have been repeatedly teased. He looked out past me, in smiling awe of his new knowledge: 'I never knew I could stay cool and say stuff like “So?”!'

[The students] were attentive, participated, laughed and commented how much they loved it for the rest of the day. WE LOVE IT!!!

It made the day perfect! I heard students telling other students, “It was awesome!” They loved it! The students want [the actors] back! Don’t change a thing! I am just so impressed how well these young actors relate to the students – the students truly listened! Thank you for the amazing work your company does – What a difference you’re making!

Imagination Theater came to our school and did an outstanding job sharing thoughts and strategies about bullying and teasing. Our students, as well as faculty members, were impressed with the professionalism and talent shown by the young actors.

[Imagination Theater’s] Artistic Director was very open to getting my input so that we could tailor a program to fit our school’s needs. The assembly for the students was impressive. The actors were extremely professional in their roles. Both through eliciting comments from our students and including them in the scenes, they were able to get our students involved in a very positive manner. The workshop for the staff was also well done. The Artistic staff made us all aware of our own issues with respect and tolerance and gave us some activities to use in the classroom with our students.

We were impressed not only with Imagination Theater's business acumen and professionalism in providing necessary information (pricing and other details), script (for our review), and needed documents (e.g., contract) to us in the course of working together -- but also by the creativity, talent, and professionalism of its actors during the performance itself. Imagination Theater was able to deliver a highly educational (though not too scary or complex), age-appropriate production that was informative and motivated the students into participating at appropriate times.
